I consider myself lucky to live in one of the most picturesque places in the world – the North Caucusus in Russia. Mountains and valleys here provide tremendous inspiration to me. I feel that there is nothing more majestic and beautiful than those. Therefore, I want to capture the sheer grandeour of those places in my paintings and share them with the rest of the world.

To me, nature is the source of perfection that's reflected in everything it creates. I set out to find the most interesting elements in the common objects that are often overlooked yet they show the beauty and diversity of nature. Interaction of light, diversity of texture, fine details – those are the elements that I utilize extensively in my work. Using those, I want to highlight the details of every object while keeping the harmony of the overall composition intact.
